The Valley of Fire is a state park located around 1-1.5 hours from Las Vegas and it is well-known for its red sandstone formations. Ok, so the Valley of Fire is not technically in Las Vegas, but it is close by and well worth a day trip if you want to escape the chaos of the city. This colorful place is a popular spot for photographers and Instagrammers alike, but it can be tricky to get to! I highly recommend renting a car for the day to travel to this spot and a few others on this list that are located off of The Strip! 5. The Seven Magic Mountains is a sculpture installation located about 20-30 minutes from The Strip in the middle of the desert. Photo Tip: Walk across to the Bellagio Fountain viewing deck for the best shot with the Eiffel Tower in the background. The Paris Las Vegas Hotel may not have the real Eiffel Tower, but the replica is pretty close and just as impressive to see in the center of the Las Vegas Strip! I lived in Paris for a few years, so I am quite familiar with all things Parisian. This spot is definitely instagrammable, but be warned: you can only take pictures with a cell phone here and they will not let you enter the property with a camera! 3. This museum houses neon signs from old casinos and former businesses, making for a unique experience to walk beside these giant colorful remains of the city’s history. The Neon Museum is a curious location located just north of The Strip. If you don’t want to wait, come early in the morning before everyone wakes up from last night’s festivities. EVERYONE takes a photo here, so this means that there is a queue during peak times of the day. Do you really travel to Las Vegas if you don’t see the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign? This sign is located at the start of the Las Vegas Strip and has been a landmark of the city since 1959. Where else in the world can you find Rome, Paris and Venice all within walking distance from one another? Ok, so I know it’s not the real deal, but it is a surreal feeling to experience all of these places in one spot! The Las Vegas area has so many photo-worthy locations, so I’ve put this guide together with some tips to help you snap some some memories on your next trip! 1. When you travel to Las Vegas, you feel larger than life…much like the surroundings! We would like to go back when we weren't pulling an RV but we loved the drive and the beautiful red rocks especially during the first part of the loop.Viva Las Vegas! Who doesn’t love a good girls’ trip to Vegas? There are so many cool shows, delicious restaurants and fun bars & clubs to let loose and live your best life here. Lots of hikers and also world renowned venue for rock climbers. Bathrooms are at some stops but not all no water anywhere on the loop. This is in the Mojave dessert so take plenty of water. You only need a timed entry from October 1-May 31. You have to make a timed reservations through. If you drive slowly it is no problem plenty of room for people to go around you. Speed limit is no more than 35 miles an hour. There are a few switch backs but if you drive slowly it is not a problem. There is NO places big enough for you to park. The 13 mile loop was very doable for driving an RV/trailer not good if you want to stop and hike at places. We were pulling a 27 foot 5th wheel and were not planning on unhooking because of our schedule. The Conservatory is about 25 miles north of Las Vegas.
